The entire cleaning process covers leather, lambskin and fur cleaning. Contrary to popular belief, this is a very labour-intensive process, as most of it is done by hand in Germany. Before cleaning, each item is inspected and assessed. Based on the assessment, the best possible method for gentle cleaning is selected. In our high-quality price segment, it is not possible to use a standard process to clean premium clothing. Trust us!
Fur care & cleaning
For your furs
Furs are among the most durable items of clothing there are. Fur care means preserving value and increasing comfort. Bring your precious item in for hair treatment every 2 to 5 years. The purification process removes dust and dirt from your fur. The natural shine and silkiness of the hair become visible again, preventing moth damage. We recommend having your fur cleaned exclusively by a specialist company to ensure a good result using a gentle cleaning process. Long-haired furs, such as fox, raccoon or mink, receive an additional finish with steam, brushing and combing. Your master furrier will remove any type of stain carefully and gently. Chemical cleaning processes dry out the fur, making it brittle. We do not use this type of fur cleaning.
Rain, snow and moisture are no problem for any fur – shake your fur vigorously and let it dry slowly. However, do not hang the fur on a heater or use a hair dryer, as rapid drying causes the leather to shrink and the hair to become crimped. Fur should also not be put in the washing machine!
Is the collar greasy? We use a special process to remove excess grease from the hair. A complete fur cleaning is not necessary for this process.

Moth removal from furs
Do you have moths in your fur and want to have them removed? We can help you remove moths from your fur using Eulanisation. The moth eggs are killed during cleaning and the moth eggs are removed. We will then advise you on how to remove the bald spots caused by moth damage.
Lambskin care and cleaning
For your lambskin
Resistant and durable – these are the attributes of clothing made from lambskin. This type of fashion is usually delivered with a water-repellent finish. Even when the finish wears off, this material never becomes stained. A good finish, repeated annually, reduces staining and soiling. When spraying, it is important to maintain an even distance and not to apply the impregnation more heavily in certain areas. Have the impregnation done by a specialist who knows the weak points and treats them specifically.
Light soiling can be removed from rough, suede leather with a suede brush; for smooth leather, wiping with a damp cloth is usually sufficient.
Never pre-treat stains with water or stain removers. Modern special leather cleaning gently removes almost any heavy soiling if the garment has not been pre-treated. Lambskin cleaning must be carried out by a specialist company. We will be happy to take care of this for you.
A grease stain can end up on a lambskin jacket, especially on suede leather. Do not treat this stain on the suede. The grease can be removed with talcum powder, which is available at any pharmacy. Sprinkle the talcum powder on the grease stain and leave it to work overnight. The next day, brush it off and the stain will have disappeared. If you are unsure about cleaning it yourself, you can also bring your lambskin jacket to us. Our specialists will take care of it!
Lambskin jackets and coats must not be washed. During the washing process, the leather shrinks and loses its shape. The leather also becomes hard and frizzy afterwards. Google and various forums often report that lambskin can be washed. This does NOT apply to lambskin jackets, lambskin coats and other garments made of lambskin.
Every suede lambskin jacket has a fine suede dust on the surface of the leather side. Individual fibres or particles can settle on other garments. This discolouration is often seen when the jackets are dark and the undergarments are white. Due to the natural structure of the leather, this cannot be avoided, as lambskin is a completely natural product.

Important: Never pre-treat stains, this also applies to water! Leather is easy to care for: treat your favourite item with a water-repellent, colourless waterproofing spray at regular intervals.
